Liska Blodgett is a visionary real estate developer and the founder of Peace Museums in Vienna, Nepal, Paris, and Colorado. With an MBA from INSEAD (Fontainebleau, France) and fluency in six languages, she has lived and studied across France, Spain, Germany, the USA, Israel, and Japan. Her global experiences have deepened her belief in a shared human culture of peace, inspiring her to challenge the pervasive influence of the Military-Industrial Complex and its focus on war and defense spending. Liska begins her initiatives with a powerful question: “What can you do for peace?” She is committed to translating this question into actionable plans that foster understanding and collaboration worldwide. Through her work, Liska underscores the urgency of building a more peaceful and connected world.
Janicka Bassis
Peace Museum Paris
Janicka Bassis has been a trailblazer in France’s real estate capital markets, becoming one of the first women in the C-Suite of the commercial real estate sector in 1987. Over her career, she has advised on over €5 billion in institutional-quality transactions across international markets. Recognizing the lack of networks for women in the industry, Janicka founded WWIRE.eu (World Women Impacting Real Estate) in 2012. Today, it is the largest global platform dedicated to promoting women leaders in real estate, connecting over 25,000 women across 25 countries, and fostering inspiring female role models. Beyond her professional achievements, Janicka’s passion lies in her peace journey. As a founding contributor to the Peace Museum Vienna and now actively focused on Peace Museum Paris, she uses her remarkable ability to connect people to create impactful collaborations. Janicka is committed to empowering women, amplifying underrepresented voices, and championing initiatives that promote peace and equality worldwide.
Robert Blodgett
Painter, Philosopher, peace maker
Robert is a dedicated advocate for human rights and peace, currently completing his Master’s in Philosophy at the University of Vienna. As a co-founder of the Peace Museum Vienna, he has worked to promote a deeper understanding of peace through education and advocacy. His philosophy centers on the belief that human rights - particularly the right to a satisfactory quality of life are fundamental to lasting peace. He aligns with Thomas Pogge’s assertion that poverty is akin to slavery: it must be completely eradicated, not merely reduced. Robert believes that true peace cannot be achieved through half-measures but requires the total elimination of poverty and the active promotion of human rights. Through his work, he strives to create a world where every person has the opportunity to live with dignity, security, and well-being.
Chhaya Mathur Saint Ramon
Peace Museum paris
Chhaya Mathur Saint Ramon is an Indo-French peace advocate, actively engaged in international peace conferences and dedicated to promoting peace heroes and heroines. As a co-founder of the Peace Museum Paris and a mother of two bicultural children, she strives to create a world where every child can grow in peace, with access to food, shelter, education, and dignity. Born in India during a period of political upheaval, Chhaya’s experiences in Jordan and her work with the UN’s World Food Program have given her a profound understanding of global conflicts and inequalities. She believes in fostering inclusivity and peace to ensure a brighter, more harmonious future for generations to come.
Fritz Fuhrmann
Artist, painter
Fritz Fuhrmann is an accomplished artist and painter based in Vienna’s Leopoldstadt district. With a background in marketing consulting, he blends creativity with strategic thinking. A dedicated advocate for peace, Fritz supports Peace Museums and regularly delivers speeches emphasizing the importance of peaceful dialogue and respect in communication. Inspired by figures such as Julian Assange and Dwight D. Eisenhower „If wars can be started by lies, peace can be started by truth.", he integrates messages of positivity and collaboration into both his art and his professional endeavors.
Mohammad Shafiee
Volunteer, Peace seeker
Mohammad Shafiee, originally from Afghanistan, fled his home at a young age and eventually found safety and a sense of peace in Vienna. Since 2017, he has been a dedicated volunteer at the Peace Museum Vienna, where he discovered that peace is not only something we can build but also something we must protect. Using his technical skills and knowledge, Mohammad has been an invaluable part of the museum’s work. Looking to the future, he hopes to establish his own business renovating flats and houses, while continuing to contribute to creating a more peaceful world.
Anna Rabko
Graphic Designer, Illustrator, changemaker
Anna Rabko is a graphic designer and illustrator driven by a passion for peace and fueled by coffee and endless inspiration from the world around her. Believing in the power of collaboration, Anna dedicates time each day to brainstorming ideas for peace, creating to-do lists, and visualizing what peace should look like. Her mission is to create more visual representations of peace and encourage artists to work together in promoting peace worldwide. Using art as a universal language, Anna reimagines peace through colors and surrealism. With a background from the Academy of Fine Arts in Cracow, Poland, and training in traditional Thangka painting in Kathmandu, Nepal, she collaborates with theatres, NGOs, and fellow artists to express her vision of respect and harmony.
