Marilyn Kerins Angelucci

Marilyn Kerins Angelucci is an American peace activist and educator. Currently, she is serving as the Secretary General of Family Federation for World Peace and Unification -Middle East. She was born in the United States in 1953 and has completed her bachelor and master’s degree in education at Rhode Island College and the State University of New York respectively. She has been doing academic and peacekeeping activities for decades in vulnerable areas like Central & South Asia and the Middle East.

Ms. Angelucci has worked as volunteer professor of English at Mazar University in 1996 and 1997 and in the Journalism Faculty of Kabul University in 2006. She has worked at the American University of Afghanistan as Administrative Coordinator for Daytime Foundational Studies Program from 2008 to 2010. She has also served as the Dean of Student Affairs at the International Peace Leadership College in Philippines from 2011 to 2015.

While in India, she and her husband, Umberto Angelucci, helped Afghanistan refugees through various educational programs.They established a school for the refugees in India, which was later supported by the government of Afghanistan. In addition, she has taught for International Educational Foundation in India from 1997-2003.

Ms. Angelucci has had significant peace-building activities over decades. She has been the President of Women’s Federation for World Peace in Romania in 1993-1995, Co-Director of Universal Peace Federation in Afghanistan from 1996 to 2010, President of Women’s Federation for World Peace (WFWP) in Afghanistan since 1999, Advisor of WFWP Asia since 2011, Program Assistant at International Relief and Development in 2007 in Afghanistan.

Currently, Ms. Angelucci is the Secretary General of Family Federation for World Peace and Unification in the Middle East. She is overseeing the activities for the foundation in 23 nations. Through different programs, along with her team, she works to support and strengthen family values, educate the new generation with focus on global peace and harmony, mostly in the refugee camps in Jordan, Lebanon and Gaza.
